They lived in South Russia in the first 3 centuries AD, and tried to cross the Caucasus.
In 75 they
raided Armenia and Parthia,
but they had to retreat. The Huns sweapt them across Central Europe. Under command of Sangiban they joined the Romans in the Battle of Chalons, and went to Spain where they were absorbed by the Visigoths.
